The 83rd Infantry Division was a infantry formation of the United States Army during World War I and World War II. Since then it was reformed in 2014 as the 83rd Army Reserve Readiness Training Command Center and is based at Fort Knox in Kentucky.
This SSI patch comes from a lot manufactured in 1969 as official USGI military patch with a merrowed edge.
