I have a Vintage Garrard Transcription Turntable Lab 80 MK II available for sale. Pre-owned in good condition for it's age. Not properly tested, but turns on, selling as voetstoots. The dust cover has a small hole at the corner. It's going with more than 100 varieties of LP's. Also coming with a Nagaoka Record cleaner.

This wonderful turntable from Garrard really goes against the audiophile grain. To look at it, you would think it can't possibly sound good, but it really does. The bass is taught, dynamic, and crisp. The mids and top sparkle with energy, and those 60's 45's sound as good as they are ever going to on one of these. If you like the 60's looks and you want a fully auto deck, it's worth seeking one out. It's built like a tank, looks cool, works very well when serviced, and will reward you with sound that only quality idler drive decks can achieve. The mk 2 is a better buy due to it being fully auto no matter what spindle is fitted. This old Garrard has a pace and dynamic that only a 401 or quality direct drive can match.
