A lovely Gravy Boat for the table.
Carl Tielsch founded the Altwasser factory in 1845. It swiftly became the second largest porcelain factory in Silesia, (now a part of Poland). After twenty years the factory employed 1,400 employees. Products of the Tielsch factory quickly became known for its high quality and artistic values. Their quality was compared to porcelain manufactures from Berlin or even Meissen.
These days, following many changes since the wars and Occupation, the porcelain is still manufactured in Poland as Fabryka Porcelany Walbrzych S.A. https://www.porcelainmarksandmore.com/
