Vintage Shorter and Sons Gravy/Sauce Boat and Underplate SetÂ
Hand painted in soft grey and salmon pink colours and decorated with spray of embossed pink flowers and green leaves.
Made in England in the Stoke on Trent pottery area and with a back stamp - 'Genuine Staffordshire Hand painted Shorter and Son Ltd England'.
The "Galaxy" range, marketed in 1960, consists of asymmetrical shapes based on a leaf design and a background of 2 colour combinations.
Excellent vintage condition without cracks or repair. A few small age spots inside bowl.
Gravy Boat: Length 15.5cm; Width 9cm; Height: 6.5cm high.
Underplate: Length 16cm; Width: 11cm.
Set together: Height: approx 8cm.
