There is a loose letter inside from the VRS apologising for the incorrect photo being included with the book, and instructions on inserting the correct photo. The letter states that a photo of the poet William Somerville was used instead of the photo of the physician-explorer. A previous owner replaced the photo as instructed and left the poet's photo with the long wavy wig in the book.

Book Condition: Good condition. . Some minor signs of age on a few of the pages. As per photos.
