The card jacket is edge-worn, rubbed and chipped, with several short tears to the edges, and the spine is sunned. The blue boards with black titling are square and clean, with minor wear to edges, and a small liquid mark on the bottom rear. The front and rear paste-downs each contain an ownership stamp. The first end-paper has a pen name, and remnants of pencil notes. Apart from foxing / spotting to the external page edges, the pages are clean and unmarked, and all 30 photographic plates are present and intact.
