This early, WW2 book comes with the owners, original WW2 dog tag with the details '626215 V.' 'J.B. TRUTER'. The book titled 'The TWO TYPES by Jon' (Being the saga of the two jaunty heroes who have given us the best laugh since the campaign began), features numerous military cartoons depicting two British Officers. The soldier's details 'J.B. Truter - No.626215 (V)' are hand-written on the corner of the front cover. The book was produced by the British Army Newspaper Unit, C.M.F. for the fighting men of all ranks and services in WW2. It measures 24cm x 16cm, and other than a small piece missing from the front cover it's in great condition.
NOTE: This is part of a small collection of military items that I'll be listing, that belonged to 'Capt. R.J. Truter M.C.' who served with the 'Army Service Corps' in the Boer War and with the 'Kings Royal Rifles' in WW1.
