Hardcover first published 1933 by William Heinemann Ltd., no jacket. The boards are square, but worn and marked in places, with a small patch of fraying to the spine covering at the titling. There is scattered foxing to the external page edges, and to pages throughout. Pencil name of previous owner to inside front board, and a label of Herald Stationery & Bookstore, Salisbury, to inside front board.
