.This is a realy superb carving with rarely seen 3 bears. I have seen some of these where the carving makes the stand look realy kitsch and cheap. This stand is in lovely condition. height is just over 2.2m tall and 75cm wide
the detail of the 2 playful cubs while the Mother below looks over them is exceptional.
I have obviously googled and have found few with 3 bears and as nicely detailed as this one. price ranging from 8000 to 10 000 dollars and I have definitely found non in South Africa
these are made in 2 parts which then of course makes it easier to transport
