1 February 1915 postcard from "ARMY BASE P.O. / SOUTH AFRICA / 6" to Queenstown. Army base 6 was located at SWAKOPMUND at the time, and is considered one of the scarcest FIRST OCCUPATION POSTMARKS of SWA. The card also carries the "POSTAGE FREE / BASE 6 / PASSED BY CENSOR" cachet. Endorsed "On Active Service"
