Hardcover published by Cornell Maritime Press, copyright date 1971. The jacket has many chips, tears and holes, mainly along the edges and folds, and is now covered in a plastic sleeve. The boards are clean and square, with some minor edge-wear, and bumps to the corners. The pages are clean and unmarked. A newsletter of the Ferro Forum dated January 1974 is loose inside the book.
