A large, hand-painted cake plate or server by Chapmans Longton Ltd., which traded as Standard China (and later Royal Standard). The back stamp dates this piece to 1916-1930 and it indeed displays some classic Art Deco motifs. It is beautifully scalloped with some embossed details. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or grazing. It measures about 26cm across (left to right) and is about 2.4cm high. See my listings for more pieces in this pattern.
