The Accelera Iota is a touring, all season tyre made to be mounted on passenger vehicles and SUVs.
The tyre has great summer weather traction with the dual zone tread design. It is not suited for use in winter weather, as the compound does not maintain its great road gripping ability in colder winter temperatures. The outer side of the tread area improves the dry weather road gripping ability by providing additional biting edges. The other side of the tread prevents hydroplaning and increases the wet weather traction by channeling water away from the tyre footprint. This improves the summer weather driving safety significantly.
