Detailed Description: Very good with clean contents, and two excellent African themed bookplates inside front board and on front free endpaper. Bookplate of Lionel B. Goldschmidt depicts a lion and the bookplate of Denis Hamiltion Woods depicts an elephant, giraffes, and proteas. Front and back hinges starting to wear but binding still solid. Slight fading to areas of boards and spine. In a poor dust jacket that has a large chip on the spine and separated at side of spine at back. But the advantage of the jacket is that it has protected the book for most of its life. Protected in professional brodart cover. Very rare. Abe.
