Wooden Frog, Animal Sound Toy   

a Wooden frog carving in the shape of a Bullfrog.  This Animal guiro is not marked, but similar toy types are usually from the north esp Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Lampang, and Phayao.

For an authentic croaking sound, run the thick side of the supplied stick over the carved ridges on its back or by tapping its nose.

That will result in an uncanny reproduction of the croaking sounds that a frog makes.  The vintage Animal Guiro or Scraper is hand-carved from Mango wood and stained with a dark brown protective barrier.  The wood is not varnished.
