*Has British war broad arrow stamp

These original World War II early war 1941 dated Taylor-Hobson Bino Prism No 2 MK II x6 1941 Military Binoculars were standard issued to British, Canadian and Allied forced during WWII. Taylor-Hobson company was founded in 1886 and became well known for the manufacture of high quality camera lenses.

During WW I Taylor Hobson manufactured binocular lenses and in 1939 were provided government funding to establish a factory to produce 2,000 No.2 6X30 binoculars per month. The only prismatic binoculars they seem to have ever manufactured are the No. 2 binoculars for military use during WWII.

These binoculars are marked with the British war broad arrow stamp on the right side by the lens and have the No.203572 stamped.

Condition: used.
