Vintage Solid Silver Scottish Clan Badge
This early, heavy, sterling silver Scottish clan badge features a rampant lion surrounded by a garter belt, which I believe to be the 'Lyon - Lyonell' family crest. It's a well-made quality piece, in excellent condition, with lovely detail and measures 3,7cm x 4,5cm, with a weight of 17g. The badge has a makers 'W&W' mark on the back and is stamped 'STG SIL' for sterling silver.
