Beautiful Vintage 21 Piece Royal Albert `Tranquillity` Tea Set Details in Description

This item is secondhand and in excellent condition. 'Tranquillity' is a serene pattern with swirls of grey, floral sprays of pink roses surrounded by green leaves and delicate blue flowers. Gold trim rims, scalloped edges and beautifully delicate handles finishes this tranquil pattern. The pattern was produced between 1969 and 1998 and was one of the most popular designs made on the Gainsborough shape. This set consists of six teacups, six saucers, six side plates, a creamer, a sugar bowl and a tab handled cake plate. Each tea cup measures 90 mm in diameter at the mouth, approximately 105 mm from the edge of the handle to the opposite side and stands 75 mm high. The saucers measure 140 mm in diameter and stand 25 mm high, the side plates measure 160 mm in diameter and stand 10 mm high and the cake plate measures 270 mm from handle to handle, 235 mm in diameter and stands 30 mm high at the handles. The sugar bowl measures 115 mm in diameter and stands 63 mm high while the creamer measures 115 mm high from the base to the spout and approximately 120 mm from the edge of the handle to the spout.
