Description
The unbranded generic BG-E7 battery grip for Canon EOS 7D set can be used as the battery box and vertical handle for use.
The grip can handle two LP-E6 batteries or six AA-size batteries (alkaline or Ni-MH).
The nice thing about Canon DSLRs without a built-in portrait/vertical grip (all non-1-Series bodies at this time) is that they are small and light. The big downside is that it is not comfortable to shoot in portrait/vertical orientation - especially for long periods of time.
Compatible with Canon EOS 7D Mark I only (Mark II uses the BG-E16 grip).
Includes storage for up to two LP-E6, or 6 "AA" batteries.
The use of 2 LP-E6 batteries doubles the amount of shooting time.
The Battery Grip BG-E7 has built-in camera control buttons for easier vertical shooting, including shutter release, AE/FE lock, AF on, and a Main Dial control wheel.
Package includes grip, pouch and AA storage tray - no batteries included.
