Thomas Bowler, the most famous Victorian South African artist, painted a large number of scenes of Eastern Cape where he was an artist and art teacher, and the best of these were engraved.
You can tell this is the original Victorian tinted stone lithograph and not a later copy because of the fantastic fine detail and the irregular and non geometric stipple effect caused by the stone used. See the closeups in the images below. There are no signs of later modern lithography and the paper used is the original. . Print is mounted loose with only tape on mount at two points at the very top in the blank margin, as is best.
