This scarce and important book contains 50 full-page colour-plates of the author's watercolours of some of the most historic and charming corners of Dublin. Today much of what is recorded in this book, with such talent, has disappeared or is disappearing. Only 600 copies were ever printed and many of the books were broken up for sale of the individual prints.
Book in very good condition; green cloth boards pristine. Top edge of text block foxed, but pages otherwise clean and unmarked, save for a gift inscription and a small owner's sticker on the flyleaf. Dust wrapper in fair condition; intact but with edge wear and small tears and folds, especially at the top edge. Overall condition can be seen on the photographs supplied.
