For sale are four Vanity Fair "Spy" Chromolithographs, nicely matted and framed.

One is "Our Youngest General" Major General Sir Archibald Hunter, April 27, 1899, created by Leslie Matthew "Spy" Ward, British artist, 1851-1922.

The Second is "An Earnest African", a caricature of Capt FJD Lugard DSO CB in Vanity Fair, 19 December by Leslie Ward.

The Third is "A Cavalry Reformer" a caricature of The Earl of Dundonald, published in Vanity Fair, 8 May 1902 as "Statesmen" Number 751,

The Fourth is General Sir Frederick Sleigh Roberts, 1at Earl Roberts "Bobs", 10 April 1880. Served in India Mutiny. 2nd Boer War.

The set of four is R3000 or only R750 each. Just the lithographs themselves are worth $50 each as per online research.

These are beautifully framed as you can see.  There is a minor imperfection with one having slight damage on the top right-hand corner of the frame and missing the glass.  This could be easily remedied.

These historical prints would look very handsome in an office or den and would make a great gift for that special man in your life!
