OUTSIDE MEASUREMENTS OF THE FRAME: 780 X 605 MM. ART 425 X 255 MM. I LEFT THE ORIGINAL FRAMING WHICH IS THE WIDE WOODEN OUTER FRAME, THE GREY INNER BORD AND THE THIN INNER WOODEN FRAME.  I ADDED THE NOW OUTER DARK BROWN FRAME WHICH IS 75MM WIDE.  THE TOTAL MEASUREMENT OF ALL THE FRAMING IS NOW, 175 MM WIDE AND 25 MM HIGH.

The painting was signed in 1978 by the artist Ernie (Ernst) Truter (circa 1937 to after 1978). The artist painted the art with brush strokes and completed the scene with a palette knife over the brush strokes, leaving gaps where the underground brush strokes can still be seen.  As per the above picture, it somehow created a three-dimensional effect.

I have allowed potential buyers to make an offer.  If the offer is accepted, the Postnet courier charges will be for the buyer's account and postage will not be free as advertised in the postage section

A few white palette marks and you think it can be white ducks.

Ernie had a special talent painting one layer over the other.

South African artist,  Ernie Truter.  The seller Ziggy2000 writes the following about the artist: "Though information on the artist is sketchy on the internet, Truter has been painting and exhibiting for years.  I have one of his paintings which wasI  bought from him in 1976 at Zoo Lake. Depicting Fisherman cottages and and an ominous sky.  He used vibrant colours and this is truly an eye-catching painting that makes a wonderful impression."  The only information you can find on the internet is the information of 2 my paintings and Ziggy2000.
