1st Version

Paragon was a bone china manufacturer at the Atlas Works, Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, England from 1920 until 1991. Eventually after numerous owners through the decades, the Paragon name was finally discontinued by Royal Doulton in 1991, although some of the patterns continued to be produced under the Royal Doulton name.         The backstamp on this figurine states "By Appointment China Potters to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth". This would date these figurines to circa 1953 - 1960
