The Italia 90 typewriter has the same shade of azure (National Football team of Italy) is an interesting story as this typewriter was one of the special edition typewriters at the Olivetti-sponsored Press Centre for the 1990 FIFA World Cup hosted by Italy.

Being a later incarnation of Olivetti Lettera 35, the Italia 90 is a cast aluminum typewriter.
The 1990 FIFA World Cup final was between West Germany and Argintina. It was played in the Stadio Olimpico in Rome. West Germany won 1-0.
