The last occasion a 1925 Florin appeared on an international auction, it was sold for R40 000

Ive only seen two others on BOB in 14 months - 1st, the pic on front page display - I sold to another BoBer @ vf grade and 2nd, Dr Kobie Venter must still be scratching his head why the Florin he had offered wasn't snapped up when it hung around this auction site for 2 weeks with no takers at an rediculously low low price.- me buy? cashstrapped Ha!
Although well worn - Is about good fine to fine grade the scarcity still makes a coin in this condition to be a sought after item that will appreciate at a quicker and higher rate than any other coin. Presently its value is higher than most other Union coins that would be graded very fine and above!
