An account of Mr. Mackenzie's  missionary career in South Africa, with the narrative of his work in Kuruman, Taungs and Likatlong, with notes on the Orange Free State, the Transvaal,  Bushman Land, and Matabeleland, and on his visit to Moselekatze, together with an interesting description of the earliest days of the Diamond Fields.
