A Stunning Example, of an ORIGINAL 1880s - Illinois Watch Co. 14K Gold-Plated Pocket Watch as intended for the discerning Gentleman . This Elegant Timepiece comprises of a Mechanical Hand-winding Fusee Movement ; encased in an elaborately embellished 14K Gold-Plated Case - adorned with a Tricolour Wild Stag & floral motif throughout. The movement, unfortunately no longer functions - and will require service repairs in order to restore functionality.
All necessary Hallmarks are visible within the interior of the Watch Case Cuvette & also bear the Standard Marking of the Illinois Watch Co. Springfield . The Face of the Timepiece remains clear , however, both Hands are no longer present. PLEASE NOTE : One of the Case Hinge-Backs/ Cuvettes has come loose - the remaining Cuvette is still intact.
