An EXCELLENT example of a 1903 Joseph Chamberlain Visit to South Africa Commemorative Bronze Medallion  This piece appears to be in a well-preserved state, with Graphic Design Relief complete for both obverse and reverse. Minimal handling marks are evident , with Medallion appearing in an Extra Fine state.

Joseph Chamberlain, was the British Secretary of State for the Colonies and the moderator of The Treaty of Vereeniging. The Medallion commemorates the December 1902 - February 1903 Visit that provided the framework for ratification of the Treaty terms.

The ideal addition to any early 20th Century, Colonial British Commemorative Bronze Medallion collection or display.
