This piece is in a GOOD, USED CONDITION- Graphic Design Relief is complete and detailed for both obverse & reverse. Coin has been circulated and displays  signs of handling (Slight Rim Wear).

An EXCELLENT example of an ORIGINAL 1949 Union of South Africa   .800 Silver 5 Shilling Coin. This piece remains in a superb shape, with a wonderful surface lustre & minor wear associated with a circulated Coin. There are miniscule signs of handling - however, the piece appears to be in a VF state of preservation. Graphic Relief on obverse & reverse remain in great detail. Slight wear to Coin Rim on Obverse.

The ideal addition to any 1940s Union of South Africa, .800 Silver Coin collection or display- for the enthusiast seeking a genuine period piece for their assortment.
