An EXCELLENT example of a 1953 Southern Rhodesia, Rhodes Centenary Silver 5 Shilling / Crown Coin. This Commemorative issue currency was considered legal tender until 1965, after which it was demonetized. The Three Shields representing the colonies of Northern Rhodesia, Nyasaland & Southern Rhodesia are clear and visible. There are traces of slight handling - Coin appears to have been subject to circulation.
