The piece is in an GOOD, USED CONDITION- Bayonet Frog is present and ddetailed. Leather remains in a Good State and has been utilised. Signs of Wear evident due to handling. All buckles and retention tabs evident. Union Military Acceptance Stamp present on reverse.

An EXCELLENT example of Border War, 1960s SADF Early FN FAL Leather Bayonet Retention Frog . This piece appears to be in a VF/F state , with all necessary parts evident. All acceptance marks present. Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Buckles and tabs are complete , rivets securely mounted.

The piece would have been utilised by SADF personnel, with the Type A FN FAL Bayonet.
