Rustenberg is one of the oldest wine estates in South Africa, having produced wines for over three centuries. Owned by the Barlow family, the vineyards situated on the temperate slopes of the Simonberg, with a view overlooking Stellenbosch and False Bay.
 
The age of the wines, stringent selection of grapes both in the vineyard and again at the crusher, carefully controlled fermentation and a generous compliment of French barrel maturation, all contribute to the remarkable quality of this wine.
 
The vigilant eye of the cellar master and a policy of minimum interference finally yield a Merlot that, over years has become regarded as one of the finest the Cape can produce
 
An absolute rarity with certification label for the committed collector.
 
All our wines are stored in a temperature controlled cellar and handled with professional care.
