Cleaning kit for a 5.5mm rifle, will swab out a 50" barrel right through to the breech w/ ease.
The rods and rod links are all steel tube, so they will not bend - each are male and female threaded, so they screw into one another.
The handle end has a swiveling T-end, which can be swiveled and locked into a straight position. To unlock this end, it has to be pushed up, so that the ball end finds the broader groove in the handle, then the latter can be swiveled into a perpendicular line.
Two rod tips are included, namely the brass bristle brush for scouring the lead fouling out from in between the rifling grooves. Then the loophole tip, for throning a patch of felt through. We recommend adding a bit of non-petroleum based airgun barrel cleaning oil onto the felt and then performing the initial swabbing, to loosen up the fouling. Three to four patches should suffice. Give the liquid time to penetrate the lead build-up, if applicable - 5 minutes should do it. Thereafter, use the brass bristle brush to loosen the lead build up - push the rod all the way through the breech, before retracting, as retracting the brass bristle brush prematurely, will cause the brass bristles to break and thus loose efficacy.
Thereafter, swab the barrel out some more with felt cloths, first a few dry ones to collect up as much detritus as possible, before pushing another wet one through and repeat.
Repeat this process until the felt cloths start returning clean - then you'll know the lead fouling is so to say cleared up.

Also included in this package, you'll receive a barrel brush to brush the exterior of the barrel w/ a looped contour line cut out of the bristle tips, to brush the barrel contour easier.
The bottle supplied is empty, but can be used to decanter liquids into, appropriate for the job.
This all comes w/ a neat little olive drab nylon carry bag w/ three stud couplers. The interior has two separate compartments, both which are Velcro sealed.
The steel rods will garner rust after some time of disuse, but some anti-rust such as Q20 will deal with that problem easily, as will the oil typically intended for swabbing the barrel interior out with.
However, just don't let Q20 enter whatsoever into the barrel.
Please also NEVER use solvents intended to clean a real gun with, on a CO2 or air rifle.
