The wine and labels are in excellent condition, small turning marks from the terracotta tube, should be decanted.

Since 1975, the year of the first Nederburg Auction, all Nederburg Auction Wines have been made especially for the Nedeburg Aucion. Grapes destined for these special wines are selected in the vineyards with a specific and exclusive wine in mind.

The balance between Cabernet Sauvignon berry flavours and typically oak characteristics is foremost in the wine.

The nutty aftertastes typical of the Auction Selection Cabernet Sauvignon.

It has the tannin structure of excellent maturation potential.
