 Leave ‘Em Laughing (1949)
Leaving the dentist's office, where Hardy's teeth have been extracted by mistake,
the boys, still under the influence of laughing gas, meet up with a traffic cop
(Kennedy) and cause a huge traffic jam

 Africa Screams (1949)
When bookseller Buzz cons Diana into thinking fellow bookseller Stanley knows
a great deal about Africa they are abducted and ordered to lead Diana and her
henchmen to an African tribe. After encounters with lion tamers, giant apes and a
wild river, Buzz returns to America. Stanley finds diamonds and buys the store
they once worked for, hiring Buzz as its elevator operator.

 The Flying Deuces (1939)
From the opening sequence, where a love struck Ollie has his marriage proposal
turned down by a French waitress who laughs at him with her friends behind his back,
the comedy is soured by very real pain. The rest of the film sees the pair trying to
drown Ollie's sorrows, so, appropriately, images of water humorously recur.
The film is full of brilliantly resonant sequences. Images like the laundry episode where
Stan wandering through an endless vineyard of clotheslines, and ending up on a
mountain full of dirty linen is brilliant. Or where the boys trying to rest only to be barked
at by guards who are precursors to Beckett's malevolently unseen authorities

The Tramp cares for an abandoned child, but events put that relationship in
jeopardy

 Them Thar Hills (1934)
After Ollie comes down with gout, a doctor recommends that he quit his high living
and take a vacation in the country…
