Claude Gibney Finch-Davies was a British soldier, ornithologist and painter who produced a series of paintings of birds of South Africa in the early part of the 20th century. Facsimile reproduction of 21 coloured paintings, each accompanied by a page of hand-written notes, covering the period 28 March 1918 to 4 April 1920.
