The question is:      Why would anybody pay premium for a Banknote that you can acquire by driving to your local branch of any commercial bank and just collect a couple for yourself? 

Answer:     SCARCITY; AVAILABILITY & QUALITY

There should be NO reason for anybody to buy banknotes if they do not at least match any of the below specifications. These are some of the specifications that Banknote-Collectors have applied ,over the years, when buying banknotes that are believed to add value to an investment portfolio or a collection.

• START OF A SERIES. It might be A or AA. The lowest possible numbers preferably 
• END OF A SERIES.
• REPLACEMENT NOTES. For example "XX"
• LOW QUANTITIES
• TOP QUALITY. This will apply in the case of all SARB banknotes but collectors might also pay premium for lower quality when it comes to scarcity in quality e.g Clegg banknotes. Furthermore notes should be 'crisp'; not folded, no dirt marks, no lifting corners, etc.

The Mandela notes I am selling are TOP QUALITY and from the "AA" series ONLY!!!
