🗝ABSOLUTE BATMAN #3 (Nick Dragotta Cover A) 1st Print DC Comics - Scott Snyder Major Key Issue (1st Selina Kyle)
First printing release featuring the sensational, highly sought-after original main cover edition of Absolute Batman #3 from the 2024 DC Absolute Universe imprint.
This is a premier modern key issue and an absolute essential for serious DC collectors. While later printings have flooded secondary markets, authentic first-run printings of this third chapter were intensely allocated due to the unprecedented demand for the series. Mastermind writer Scott Snyder takes the blueprint of the Absolute Universe to the next level as a tentative alliance begins to take form between this massive, working-class Bruce Wayne and a battle-hardened Alfred Pennyworth. Meanwhile, a major dark secret surfaces from the shadows of Gotham, threatening to rock Bruce to his very core and reshape his entire mission.
Presented with the spectacular First Printing Cover A composition by series co-creator Nick Dragotta and master colorist Frank Martin. This iconic cover features a deep, high-contrast crimson field framing the incredible physical scale of this new Dark Knight descending down an urban alleyway grid to strike a weaponized gang force. This issue is loaded with massive, long-term speculative value, hosting the definitive first appearance of a young, reimagined street-level Selina Kyle, the full debut of Julia Pennyworth, and the introduction of AL (the AI robot built by Edward Nygma). With low worldwide print survivability driving secondary first-print premiums upwards, this pristine, unread copy functions as a cornerstone trophy investment piece for modern comic book archives.
