Ammocharis coranica is a stunning indigenous South African bulb, from summer rainfall South Africa. It forms rosettes of leaves which lie flat on the ground, and sends up 1 to 3 flower spikes of scented flowers when settled in and happy. Requires full sun, average soil and water, and should be planted deeply, approx. 5 - 10cm of soil above the top of the bulb.It is dormant in winter. Flowers are either wine red or pink( unfortunately, i am unable to say which flower colour you will receive).
NOTE:LARGE AMARYLLIDS RESENT BEING MOVED AROUND VERY OFTEN, SO IT IS BEST TO DECIDE WHERE YOU WOULD WANT TO PLANT THEM PERMANENTLY.
THEY GROW AND FLOWER MUCH BETTER IN THE GROUND AS COMPARED TO BEING PLANTED IN POTS OR CONTAINERS.
1 bulb - R85
The bulb is flowering sized, but may flower the season after settling in.
