Hardcover first published April 1984 by Galago Publishing. The jacket is whole and clean, with minor wear and some sunning to edges. The boards are clean, square and solid. There is foxing matching the jacket folds to the front and rear inside pictorial boards. The pages are otherwise clean and unmarked. "Gabriel Weiss, Czechoslovakian born but Hungarian by reason of a border dispute resolved in Hungary's favour prior to World War II and now a South African, was a young student in Budapest when the Germans invaded Hungary in March 1944. He was rounded up along with the rest of the Jews there, but was one of the few Jewish Hungarians who survived the Nazi death camps."
