Harmony Balls have been popular items of jewellery for millennia. The history of the Harmony Ball can be traced back through the years as part of traditional jewellery in civilisations ranging from Mexico to Indonesia where they found huge popularity with moms-to-be.  In modern times, they have become a fun and unusual item of jewellery fashion, attracting attention and conversation. Today it is often described as an "Angel Caller". This black tinkling ball is quite large (20 mm diameter) and features an elegant black base with a handworked sterling silver inlaid design in the form of stars, and a solid sterling silver bale. When moved slightly, the decorative ball emits a beautiful tinkling sound, rather like a gentle wind chime. The bale is large, measuring 2,5 mm across the top and 6mm inside the loop from top to bottom, allowing even a thick chain to pass through it.
