this is what you would need of to hang the mirror.
Truly a rare find is this absolutely gorgeous Art Deco Dressing table presumably dating from the early 1930’s. As this piece is very old and most of these pieces were often made from wood veneer, it certainly does show its age with a few chips here and there and no doubt the one top drawer was replaced along the way. I also could not get the little hooks from my local hardware store on which the large mirror are hanging and the successful bidder to please buy own. (You would need two – one for either side of the plank behind the mirror which supports it and it comes with the hook that slides into it). The one little handle at the one bottom drawer (I think these are still original) is also standing a bit skew although this is hardly noticeable. The length of the dressing table is 166cm and the width of the bottom drawer part is 55cm with a height of 65cm (the three drawers combined) , The diameter of the mirror is 101cm and it is thus quite a large and impressive piece of furniture.
The successful bidder to please make own collection arrangements from Towerby (an area between Forest Hill and Rosettenville, JHB South and I’m located just around the corner from the water tower in Rifle Range Road). A recommended courier for a free quotation is Time Freight 011 3922876 and for local transport to JHB and/or PTA you can also phone Owen 0783344753 for a competitive quotation throughout Gauteng!. I also never mind personal collections J
