ABOUT THIS RING: | Ancient Roman/Byzantine Empire Billon Ring: This stunning and very well preserved late ancient Roman early Byzantine Empire Billon ring has the most beautiful wave patterning engraved on its uniquely shield shaped bezel. The band has vertical engravings near the bezel. The engravings on this ring are deep and crisp and overall the ring is very stong and sturdy. Some deposits still remain on the rings engravings which has been semi-cleaned. A stunning and unique ancient treasure. An incredibly beautiful ring that is still perfectly wearable. |
DATED: | 300 - 500 AD. Approximately 1600 years old. Experts can accurately date to within 150 years. |
