MORE ANCIENT JEWELRY
ABOUT THIS RING: | Ancient Roman Empire Ring: This beautifully preserved, very large and weighty ancient Cypriot ring has been cleaned and treated to bring out it's beautiful original golden bronze colour. The original patina has been retained in the crevices (SEE CLEANED AND ORIGINAL IMAGES). It has a thick band that widens even more at the shoulders. Upon each side of its shoulders are carvings of symbols. Its bezel is raised and almost square in shape and inscribed with the most intricately carved ancient Cypriot inscription and symbols. The inscriptions are superbly detailed for a ring of this age. This is a handsome and special piece of ancient jewelry and perfectly wearable today. |
