PLEASE NOTE: These items were my daughter's . My daughter went back to Ireland 8 years ago and was supposed to come back to SA but never did, so I am now getting rid of all these things. They have hardly, if at all, been used. I will point out a mark or an anomaly where I have spotted it. I will not accept returns, but will be as descriptive as possible.
ATHSMA INHALER WITH SPACER NEBULISER.
When my Grandson came to visit at the age of 2 from Ireland, he had recently been diagnosed with Athsma. Miraculously, when he got off the plane in SA his athsma disappeared. Must be our gorgeous weather. He never used this pump from that day and in fact returned to Ireland 8 months later having not used it once. He has never suffered from athsma again.
So, I would say that it was possibly used a few times, for a couple of weeks at the most.
Called a "Babyhaler" - It is designed to make application of the medicine easier, especially to babies and smaller children, as you hold the rubber breathing 'cup' over the entire nose and mouth area whilst you apply it. It is 38cm long 5cm in diameter and the body can be shortened by un-clipping the middle section. There are 2 plastic filters that fit in at the mouth / nose end and there is a container with 2 spare filters. The whole lot comes in a blue drawstring bag for easy transport.
I don't know if you can get these in SA, my research has discovered nothing, but my daughter tells me it cost 45 Euro's. That's approx to R520-00
