Minimal Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Medal is impressed with Recipient details and Unit Number. Campaign bar is secure.

The Standerton Mounted Police , were a small Unit that performed Counter-Insurgency duties in the Transvaal region - comprised or no more than 45 active full-time members. The Unit was absorbed into the Transvaal Town Police at cessation of hostilities.
