The piece is in an GOOD, USED CONDITION- Blade is present and handle is secure. Bayonet remains in a Good State and has been utilised. Signs of Wear evident due to handling. Grip scales are complete & Mortise is present.  Steel Scabbard & Leather Frog evident.

An EXCELLENT example of Border War, 1960s SADF FN FAL Type A Bayonet  w/ Steel Scabbard & Leather Frog. This piece appears to be in a VF state , with Blade intact and retaining a sharp edge. All parts appear present. Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Grip scales are secure, mortise appears to function when engaged.  Markings evident.
