The piece is in an GOOD, USED CONDITION- Camouflage Graphic Design Relief is present and detailed. Helmet remains in a Good State and has been utilised. Signs of Wear evident due to handling. Plastic Liner is intact- NO WEBBING CHIN STRAP.

An EXCELLENT example of Border War, 1960s SADF Steel Helmet w/ Painted Camouflage Cover .This piece appears to be in a VF/F state , with detailed Camouflage Relief on  obverse. All liner fittings appear present. Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Webbing chin strap is NO LONGER PRESENT- CAN BE REPLACED WITH SPARE PARTS. 

This piece would have been utilised by members of the SADF in the early stages of the Conflict in SWA.
