An EXCELLENT example of a Border War Era, 1970s Natal Field Artillery Lt.-Colonel's Dress Blue Step-out Tunic. This piece remains in a well-preserved state and contains original Insignia. A sought after piece such as this , would have been worn by a senior high-ranking officer of this particular Regiment. The Natal Field Artillery was founded in 1862 , as part of the Durban Volunteer Guard - participating in the Anglo-Boer War (1899-1902), WW1 (1914-18) , WW11 (1939-45) and the Border War (1966-89).
